Administrative Division Commander

The Administrative Division consists of several units.

  • The Summerville Police Department’s Training Division is responsible for scheduling, conducting, recording, tracking and reporting: basic, advanced and in-service level training for all of the Department’s sworn and civilian employees.

    Summerville Police Department’s Training Division is committed to seeking out and providing training that best suits the needs of the department and the career development goals of the employees, while assuring all officers obtain more than the required amount of re-certification in-service hours.

    Basic, Advanced and In-Service Level Training is provided or scheduled for Officers, Dispatchers, Victim Advocates, Records Personnel and other Civilian Employees.

  • The Records Division is responsible for maintaining all paper, electronic and other forms of documents, reports and any other record generated by SPD. Records is also responsible for disseminating said records upon request.
  • Comunications – The mission of the Summerville Emergency Communications Center is to act as the critical link between our public safety agencies and the citizens they protect and serve by assisting responders in the preservation of life and property through relaying accurate information in a timely and efficient manner; and providing professional, courteous, and compassionate service to all customers.
