Lieutenant Christopher Hirsch began his law enforcement career in 2012 with The Summerville Police Department. He holds an Associates’s Degree in Horticultural and Criminal Justice. During his time at the police department, Lt. Hirsch has been presented with Rotary Club Officer of the year in 2015 and Summerville Police Officer of the Year in 2018. Lt. Hirsch has served in several capacities including, patrol supervisor, narcotics supervisor, and investigations supervisor. Lt. Hirsch is also the Public Information Officer for the police department. Lt. Hirsch maintains several certifications including, Field Training Officer, Basic Detective, Reid Technique of Interview and Interrogation, Field Force Operations, FBI-Media and Public Relations, and FBI-Carolina Command College.
