The Town
of Summerville is a culturally diverse community located in
Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties approximately twenty
miles west of Charleston. We are primarily a residential community
of approximately 45,000 residents in a metropolitan area of more
than 127,000 people. Our community takes great pride in its
"Small Town Feel" and its dedication to trees, flowers and aesthetic
beauty. Together with Dorchester School District II,
recognized as one of the best school districts in the state, we
proudly support our young people. In partnership with our citizens,
